Donald John Trump was born in 1946 in Queens, New York. His father ran real estate developments and a construction company where Donald would work on site frequently giving him experience he later used to develop a career. At age thirteen Donald was sent to the New York Military Academy and then followed by graduating from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a degree in economics. After college Donald entered the family business becoming involved in real estate developments in Manhattan however his projects were much bigger than his father’s earning him higher profit and recognition. Along with his economics background and property developments, Donald also stared in The Apprentice, a show on NBC produced by Mark Burnett, Arnold Schwarzenegger and himself in 2004 that was a competition for a job to be Donald Trump’s apprentice.
Though Donald Trump has not had a traditional background for a political figure his unique skills and experience give him a different take on politics that could be refreshing.  Starting at a young age he understood the value of putting in hard work to receive a greater outcome. Whether it be working hands on at one of his father’s construction sites or on one of his personal developments Donald gained real world experience. At the University of Pennsylvania Donald learned life lessons that help shape his views and help him understand the economy.
At the age of 28 Donald was handed over his family’s business which shows the trust and responsibility he had at such a young age. Being able to create profitable properties that triumphed over his father’s accomplishments showed his ability to take something and improve it. The fact that his father saw him as responsible enough to take over the company also demonstrates how Donald is trustworthy, economically smart, sensible and effective.
His business background can be looked at as a quality that will help him communicate his ideas clearly and assertively. Although he may not be as good at speaking as Obama, he can connect with audiences of all ages. His real-world experience allows his to communicate with every class and mostly the working class. The public image that Donald

Donald Trump comes across in two different forms in the public’s eye, and that view of him depends mainly on people’s party affiliation or idea on policy. The conservative minded people in America tend to favor his brashness and don’t back down attitude. In an age were political correctness is looked down upon by the conservatives, and progressiveness has taken over, Donald Trump is a welcoming sight. But it is a much different story for liberals. They see his brashness as disrespectful, they harp on an idea that he is bigoted or misogynistic, and they fell that he ran his campaign on hate and fear of foreigner.

  1. I am also focusing on Donald Trump. Even though you stated he has no prior government experience, I like that you talked about his schooling. Even though he has no experience he does have a lot of knowledge in other areas that he gained in school. We also have to know that he is a career business man, so we should not be surprised by his leadership style. His brashness and bluntness is a style we have not seen from a President before. I think that style of leadership was gained while running his fathers company. Your content helped me see Trump in a new light.
